                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF GEORGIA AVENUE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON SATURDAY,
                   JUNE 12, 1993 FOR THE "BRASS REGISTER 20TH
                   ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION" SPONSORED BY THE
                   BRASS REGISTER, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Georgia Avenue between Lookout Street and 
6th
       Street from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Midnight on Saturday, June 12,
       1993, for the presentation of the "Brass Register 20th 
Anniversary
       Celebration" sponsored by the Brass Register.  The sponsors are
       responsible for the installation and removal of all traffic
       control devices (such as cones, barricades, signs, etc.) in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto.  The
       sponsors shall provide, at all times, an access lane for 
emergency
       vehicles.
